Very high quality presentation and production value. The dramatic music in the background makes it feel like the movie, the sheer amount of motion capture, the level design, being able to focus and slow down the action, and the clearness of the graphics. This is top notch with all the bells and whistles needed for a professional top-notch game.

The gameplay is well perfected to feel natural and fits like a glove. It is very intuitive and can be learned instantly.

Learning the mechanics of the game on the first level is done in a way that is seamlessly integrated into the environment. It does not require the player to read long explanations or go through tedious tutorials. Instead it makes learning the game quick, easy, and seamlessly integrated into the game.

The plot of the game has some tie-ins with the movie, which gives Matrix fans an extra incentive to play the game.

No challenge. It's way too easy.

The story isn't integrated into the game play very well. If you haven't seen the movie, you will get confused about a lot of things. The depth and texture of the characters is not felt.

The game play is too simplistic and lacks depth. You fight a whole bunch of bad guys that all fight you the same way and you fight them all the same way. You just dive at them in slow motion and shoot, or if you're close to them just kick 'em a couple of times. No big deal. I don't have to think very much, so this game fails to deliver that challenge. It gets boring pretty quickly. You also spend a lot of time walking.

Switching from live action to real-time rendered graphics doesn't work. It didn't work in Resident Evil 1 and it doesn't work here. The graphics on today's machines are still nowhere near the level of not being able to distinguish between real and silicon.

In the beginning it is difficult to know what's going on if the player has not seen the movie. It assumes the player has seen the movie.

It gets choppy often.
