The game makes some extra effort to make you feel like you're there. The rich minute to minute plot development, the computer AI talking to you all the time, soldiers saying things as they follow you around, etc. The introduction to the control scheme was extremely well done and very seamless. One of the best I've ever seen. The high quality marching into combat music really helped too. The soldiers following you around so that this isn't just you alone on this quest, there's people with you. It adds kind of a social aspect to the game.

What can you say about the graphics. They're just awesome! The whole art feel is awesome.

There's never been an FPS on a Ringworld before. This is also a first.

The aliens are a menace sent to destroy humanity, and you embark on a quest to stop them. The aliens represent chaos, suffering, and evil while you are on the side of stability and good. You spend the whole time fighting the chaotic alien race that threatens to consume all of mankind. Or well, sorta.

Whoever controls Halo controls the fate of the universe. An object with unimaginable power. So you have good and evil fighting over an unimaginable power... sounds epic.

There are a variety of different types of enemies. Some easy targets, some more difficult, different kinds of attacks, etc. They have their own personalities - some cute, some mean, some tough guys, etc.

The sound composition is extremely professional. The orchestrated music the sets the mood and makes you feel the way you're supposed to at the particular time. It's just so well done.

Different vehicles to maneuver. The low gravity makes controlling each one really cool and fun.

Some really cool novelties all along the way. The sentinals flying around and you shooting them down an watching them crash and show of the physics, the low gravity, the evil orb guy, the AI computer assisting you, the vehicles you maneuver that all show off the physics really well, etc.

This is your brain. This is your brain on aliens. Yes, this is yet another game in which you must defeat an endless army of aliens. It's very one-dimensional. It's just combat, combat, and more combat. Most of the important part of the story take place during cutscenes.

After awhile, the areas start to get repeditive. Everything starts to look the same as the place I was before. Give me some diversity please. Some of the levels alse drag on for a long time with nothing to do except kill more and more aliens and biofreaks.

Aliens, Biofreaks, and a high body count. Low class entertainment at its finest.
