1) Everything you do in the game directly relates to what is going on in the story at that particular time. In some other story games, such as RPG's where the major part of the game play is fighting monsters, the game's objectives will not relate to the plot so directly.
2) This game has some great plot development. All of the characters were unique in their own way, the main character was very dynamic, and everything revolves around the idea that the cosmos is in a balance between magic and science, which I find very intriguing.
3) A great diversity of different landscapes to explore throughout the adventure. It has everything from the cyberpunk city of Newport, to the magical towns and forests of Arcadia. The artwork is also very well done.
4) Some of the best voice acting I have ever seen in a video game. Each character you come across in the game speaks their own unique tone of voice, rather than run of the mill characters that have the same tone of voice. This makes talking to each character a unique experience in and of itself. My favorite character was Jerry (or Jerold...)

1) Like most adventure games, the game moves very slowly. The game provides very little game play to the player, and thus a lower amount of gratification. There is nothing I hate more than going to talk to a person and having to sit and wait through a conversation that takes minutes to complete. There were several times when I found myself almost falling asleep while listening to the boring conversations in the game.
2) The characters were diverse: some of them were interesting, although most of them were downright annoying. I hated having to sit and listen to one of the characters blab on and on seemingly forever. It's a good thing they put in the option of pressing the ESC key to skip animations and conversations, or I don't know how else I would have been able to bear all of the conversations in this game.
3) Thank god there were such great hint WebPages, or I don't know what I would've done. Several times throughout this game, after trying everything I could think of, I had to go to the online hint page to figure out how to progress through the game. I think the player should know what the objective is, and the fun would come from trying to achieve that objective. But when I find myself in the middle of Arcadia, I don't know what I'm supposed to do next, and I wander around aimlessly trying to figure out how to progress, and after thirty minutes I'm still stuck, it gets very frustrating and boring.
4)Although sometimes, when the solution to a puzzle is fairly obvious, the game becomes much more fun for me to play. For example, when I was to deliver the maps to different people for the map dealer, and the dealer told me where those people were, solving those puzzles were much more fun.
5) One thing I don't really like about Adventure games in general, is that the stream of gratifications comes much too slowly.
