EUROPA SOUNDTRACK

SCENE 1

MUSIC THEMES: The music starts off as a spacey peaceful chorus as the satellite moves from one side to the other revealing Europa and Jupiter.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: As the capsule is launched there is a small gas hiss.
Satellite beeps can be heard with the scrambled sound of a man's voice.

SCENE 2

MUSIC THEMES: The spacey chorus continues.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: The gentle sound of an electrical motor lowering the Cryobot into the ice can be heard along with the grand sound of cracking ice and steam coming from the ice. The parachute gently flaps in the wind and a beacon light blinks off and on with beeps.

SCENE 3

MUSIC THEMES: The music shifts from a spacey chorus to one more aquatic and peaceful.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: The sound of the propellers drone off in the distance as the HB zooms off toward the camera blinding it with its bright beam. A subtle sound of wind chimes will go off at the exact moment the light blinds the camera. A bubble trail can be seen coming from the hatch and the sound of underwater muffled bubbles can be heard. Heat and small bubbles come off the CB as it continues to melt the ice giving off large thunderous cracks that echo underwater.

SCENE 4

MUSIC THEMES: The music changes from a relaxing tone to one of suspense as the alien is revealed. When the alien is seen to be friendly, the music shifts to a more energetic tone.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: As the HB begins to slow down the propeller sound also slows. The light of the beacon on the HB is flashing on and off (TBD whether or not a sound will be associated to that). The alien's bioluminescence pulses will be done with subtle sounds such as chimes. TBD if alien makes vocal noises.

SCENE 5

MUSIC THEMES: At the peak of the alien's glow a humming chorus is heard. When the alien realizes he must leave, it puts its head down and the music dies out.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: The sound of slow moving swooshing water can be heard as the alien swims away slowly.

SCENE 6

MUSIC THEMES: The music begins to pickup and is more inspiring than the previous music as the alien is seen joining his mother. When the Europian city comes into view the music hits its peak. The music comes back down and continues throughout the credits.

NARRATION: NA

SFX: NA. Music is too powerful to allow for any SFX.
