About Me

Kelly Jacobs

I am a game programmer currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Science from Digipen Institute of Technology. I live in Seattle, WA but I grew up in Springfield, MO. There, I participated in the International Baccalaureate program for math and chemistry at Central High School. Then I attended Missouri University of Science and Technology (then University of Missouri-Rolla) for a BS in Computer Science where I was an RA for the residential halls.

I have been interested in games since I became hooked on the NES. During the era of the SNES, I decided I wanted to make games for a living and have been following this path ever since. I will be finished with my masters in the summer of 2009 when I hope to complete my thesis. I am particularly interested in game design, graphics programming (particularly shaders), tools, and network programming.

When I am not coding or playing games, I like drawing, playing the ukulele, biking, and spending time with family and close friends.
