March 14, 2001 Okay, I'm sorry for the incredible delay in updating my page. I've been very busy recently, and I just remembered that I do have some commitment to at least do you the courtesy to update this. Here's what's going on: First of all, I've removed some of my contact info, since I'm a bit tired of having all my different email addresses full of emails regarding DigiPen, as well as random ICQ users asking me questions. Second, I have decided that a FAQ section on my page will do me a lot of good, since most people who do contact me ask the same 7 questions. What I think I may even do is update the FAQ every time I get an email, and just email back a link to the page. That way, everyone who asks a question will be getting it answered for everyone else. Third, I would like to apologize to all those people who I haven't been responding to recently. As I said, I've been busy and my priorities have been elsewhere. I know everyone is scrambling to find a college, but many people who email me are also just starting High School and want to know what they can do to get into DigiPen in a few years. That kind of stuff makes me want to put it off for four years until they are ready to get in. In any case, I should be updating this a bit more now that our network admin made publishing to the web a lot easier for me. As I've said, that FAQ will now get the most frequent updates, but many other things should be updated occasionally as well.

November 13, 2000 Since I've been pretty busy with class work and such, I have neglected this site a bit. Sorry about that guys! So let me see if I can do anything about it. I've given up some of the fixes for Netscape, not to be rude to our Linux-loving friends out there. The problem is that I can hardly bear to use Netscape, even if it is for a good reason. So, as for what I'm adding. I'd like to toss in some neat things like a random generator for quotes and perhaps a hit counter so I can tell how many people I'm getting. I think I'll also toss in a bit of more personal information on my Biography page.

September 27, 2000 So now this page is up on the web, and already I've received a few emails requesting some additional information on what DigiPen is like, what people can do to prepare for DigiPen, etc. I actually like these questions, so if you've got a question, fire away. To keep from responding to emails all day, I'm also going to toss up a FAQ page, or something of the sort, somewhat as a resource for everyone who wants to know more. I'll try to have that up within a few days. I'm also updating my bio to make it a bit more useful to you. It also was brought to my attention that my page is bad at lower resolutions. I'll try to fix that here ASAP, and may even fix the whole Netscape compatibility thing.

September 24, 2000 Day Two: So far, I'm very pleased with the progress I've been making. Though I've spent far too much time in Photoshop just fixing up the DigiPen logo I got from Anthony's site, I managed to get the major parts of the webpage up, including my résumé, by biography, and the About DigiPen page. After some experimentation with themes in FrontPage 2000, I decided on this mechanical gears thing, since the color scheme is well done, and it has a nice font. Hopefully I'll be able to get this up on the web soon, but I've heard bad things about the process of getting things approved for the Web at DigiPen. We can hope, though!

September 23, 2000 Today I began work on this web page for DigiPen's website. I am hoping that progress will be easy, and I will have a quality representation of my skills and accomplishments to show for my hard work. Please bear with me as I construct this site, as my previous failures have taught me to be simple in design and execution. I may even venture into the realm of pictures, if you're lucky! |
